NATURAL ECOSYSYTEM NOTICE
Gorukana is located within a forested landscape and living ecosystem. The accommodations are naturally ventilated and designed to coexist with the surrounding environment. Seasonal weather conditions may result in minor variations in doors, windows, and other building elements from time to time.
The campus is surrounded by plantations, trees, and open land that support a diverse range of plant and animal life. Guests may occasionally encounter insects, frogs, lizards, spiders, geckos, birds, or other small wildlife in and around the accommodations. Their presence is an expected part of the ecosystem and does not indicate poor housekeeping or infestation.
Please avoid storing food, snacks, or beverages within your accommodation. Wildlife may be attracted by food odours, even when items are kept in sealed containers or packaging.
We recommend keeping lights minimal after dark, as artificial lighting may attract insects and other nocturnal creatures.
As wildlife activity, weather conditions, and seasonal changes vary throughout the year, not all natural occurrences can be predicted, controlled, or individually communicated in advance.
SAFETY NOTICE
Gorukana is situated within a natural environment. Guests are requested to exercise caution at all times and to supervise children closely.
Please be mindful of uneven pathways, slopes, water bodies, drainage channels, insects, wildlife, and reduced visibility after dark. Use designated pathways and carry a torch when moving around the property after dark.
Swimming in ponds, streams, or other natural water bodies on or near the property is strictly not permitted.
Gorukana shall not be responsible for accidents, injuries, loss, or damage arising from negligence, failure to follow safety instructions, or misuse of facilities.
